1) A valid, non-expired government
2) Must be able to communicate with the Notary
3) Notary must be able to read the document
4) Signer must be coherent, understand the documents fully and not be assisted in the decision of signing the document
5) Certificate field for Notary to fill out. If this is not on the document please let us know in advance.
In Colorado a Notary Public can legally charge a maximum of $15 PER DOCUMENT. This includes:
- Receiving ID evidence of signer
- Administering oath or affirmation (if applicable)
- Signature, notarial certificate and stamp
